Look into the log files, I had 3 outages over the last week from that sensor unit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/didsburywx.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/wx-iss-outages.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-168 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/didsburywx.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/wx-iss-outages.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"828\" height=\"262\" srcset=\"https:\/\/didsburywx.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/wx-iss-outages.jpg 828w, https:\/\/didsburywx.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/wx-iss-outages-300x95.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 828px) 100vw, 828px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This battery was just replaced August 1, 2015.\u00a0 Luckily I had an extra battery, so I ran out in the -21 Celsius evening and replaced the battery.\u00a0 The backup battery should last for 8 months without any solar panel assistance, so the batteries I purchased to replace must have been bad batteries.\u00a0 Hopefully this fixes the issue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Also noticed that the new batteries for the 24 hour Fan-Aspirated Shield don&#8217;t appear to be working that well.\u00a0 The fan was not running the other day when I checked on the unit, but today 4 hours after dark, the fan was still spinning.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll have to look into this.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Replaced main sensor unit battery again.\u00a0 Noticed today that the console was reporting a Low Battery on Station 1.
